In the presence of His Glory

It’s been almost half a year since the passing of my brother and with the news of Pastor Greg Laurie’s son passing away, I am reminded of the pain my family experienced, but also of the “peace that surpassed all understanding”. Not only have I been thinking about that night I recieved the call of my brothers condition, but I have also been promted to pray for this families loss. This is when the body of Christ pulls together to lift one another up.

“Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.” Romans 8:25-27

To allow the Spirit of God to reside inside your heart and bring forth a holy plea. Knowing that God delights in this very thing. It’s in times of sorrow and pain that only He can come in and comfort you in a way that no other can. Please join me in praying for the entire Laurie family. God Bless

“Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints.” Psalm 116:15
